Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, CT is seeking Sensor Applications Engineers for the Engineering Development Program (EDP). You will work with CIPTs to ensure instrumentation needs are understood and realized in test assets.

The role features rotations across disciplines and close collaboration with assembly and test teams. The program provides broad and deep technical experiences to support multiple gas-turbine engine tests, with on-site work and opportunities to interact with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field obtained by start date.
• Experience in instrumentation, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and apply them to tests.

Responsibilities

• Create installation drawings and perform sensor calibration.
• Coordinate with CIPTs to realize instrumentation in test assets.
• Support assembly and testing of instrumented parts across multiple engines.
• Present findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
