Job summary

Eastern Shipbuilding seeks a Configuration and Change Management lead to oversee engineering design configuration, change control, and data integrity across shipbuilding programs. You will ensure MEL and CPC accuracy, coordinate MTOs, and manage VFI/OFI workflows with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Production to maintain baselines and implement approved changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor‑level engineering or related degree required.
• Experience in shipbuilding or marine industry preferred.
• Experience coordinating across Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Planning, Production, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Design Configuration and Configuration Control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead Engineering Change Requests from initiation through closure with stakeholders.
• Maintain MEL and CPC, coordinate MTOs and Material Requisitions.
• Oversee VFI/OFI tracking, revisions, and incorporation into design.
