Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Engineering Co-op for a 15-week program at our East Hartford site starting May 2027. Co-ops will work with site Engineering Managers on day-to-day tasks and special projects, contributing to department goals.

You will gain hands-on experience in equipment analysis, installations, and drafting, while developing skills in plant engineering processes and teamwork. Eligible students pursuing an Engineering degree with sophomore standing are encouraged to

Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university at the time of the Co-op program.
Must be currently pursuing an Engineering Degree with sophomore standing or higher.

Responsibilities

Equipment analysis.
New installations and facility revisions.
Developing drawings and specifications for equipment layout.
Investigation of new plant engineering processes and techniques.
Special projects as identified by the Engineering Team.
Present final presentation at the end of rotation to site, program, and division leadership.
