Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is offering a 15-week Engineering Co-op starting January 2027 at the Kankakee, IL site. Co-ops will support site Engineering Managers with day-to-day tasks and special projects, contributing to department goals and initiatives.

Applicants must be enrolled in an engineering degree program (sophomore or higher), be at least 18, and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Preference for those with MS Office and teamwork experience.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the Co-op program.
• Must be pursuing an Engineering Degree with sophomore standing or higher.

Responsibilities

• Equipment analysis.
• New installations and facility revisions.
• Developing drawings and specifications for equipment layout.
• Investigation of new plant engineering processes and techniques.
• Special projects as identified by the Engineering Team.
• Present final presentation at the end of rotation to site, program, and division leadership.
