Job summary

Openwork is seeking an Engineering Change Specialist in Houston, TX to manage engineering change processes and serve as the central change-process integrator across cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

You will administer ECRs/ECPs from initiation through implementation and closure, coordinate evaluations for impacts on requirements, hardware, software, safety, cost, and schedules, and ensure traceability.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in engineering change management or engineering operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing changes from initiation to closure with drawings, BOMs, specs, and review committee processes.

Responsibilities

• Administering engineering changes (ECRs/ECPs) from initiation through implementation, verification, and closure.
• Coordinating cross-functional evaluations to determine change impacts across requirements, hardware, software, manufacturing, safety, cost, and schedules.
• Maintaining visibility into open changes and ensuring technical product integrity and traceability.
