Job summary

Acuity Inc. in Atlanta, GA, seeks an Engineering Changes Engineer to lead the planning, evaluation, and implementation of ECNs/ECOs across U.S.

manufacturing sites, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to minimize impact on quality, cost, inventory, and commitments. You will manage ECOs/ECNs, monitor progress, drive risk mitigation, and contribute to continuous improvement of change-management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Engineering Change Management, ECN/ECN and BOM management.
• Experience with PLM, ERP systems, and change-management processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience supporting NPI, product transfers, and end-of-life transitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation, planning, coordination, and implementation of Engineering Changes across U.S. manufacturing sites.
• Assess impact of engineering changes on inventory, materials, production schedules, quality, cost, and customer commitments; develop mitigation plans.
• Lead cross-functional reviews with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Planning, and Operations teams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, dependencies, and conflicts; drive resolution actions.
• Manage ECOs/ECNs, deviations, and product configuration records within Acuity systems (Oracle, Windchill).
• Develop metrics, track implementation performance, generate reports, and identify process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance change-management effectiveness.
