Safariland, LLC in Florida seeks an Engineering Coordinator to oversee the coordination of change management projects and manage the ECR process with design engineering, manufacturing, production, procurement, sales, and finance.

Responsibilities include assuring accurate product configuration information, planning and reviewing the ECR approval process, and producing reports such as action item and inventory status reports, plus data gathering for costing and ERP.

Qualifications

• Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to self-motivate.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write routine reports and internal correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively in a small group.
• Ability to interpret instructions and follow procedures.
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes, ERP, and costing.
• Team-oriented and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Assures accurate product configuration information.
• Plans and reviews ECR approval process and monitors through completion.
• Produces reports and management information, including action item and inventory status reports.
• Performs system queries for data gathering to support costing, engineering, and manufacturing engineering.
• Performs audits of BOMs and routers to ensure data accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.
