Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a detail-oriented coordinator to support operations, engineering, and quality change-management activities. You will write and track change controls, manage ESPs and SMRs, and help coordinate the review of requirements for new equipment transfers to manufacturing.

Responsibilities include documenting decisions from meetings, assisting in process documentation, and maintaining project plans and tracking reports to ensure on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related technical field (e.g., Life Sciences, Engineering) or 5+ years experience as coordinator with a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in administrative or project support within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.
• Familiarity with change management processes, equipment validation, and risk assessments is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Write and implement change controls, track progress, and ensure completion of action items.
• Open ESPs and plan SMRs; coordinate equipment transfers to manufacturing.
• Document and follow up on actions from project meetings; support process and equipment documentation.
• Provide regular updates on change control activities, including escalation of aging controls.
