Job summary

Safariland is seeking an Engineering Coordinator in Jacksonville, FL to coordinate change management projects and manage ECR processes with design engineering, manufacturing, production, procurement, sales, and finance. You will ensure accurate product configuration information and produce key reports.

Ideal candidates have vocational training or equivalent, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong skills with MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or general education is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to self-motivate.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to write routine reports and internal correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively in small groups.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates documentation release and ECR process with design engineering, manufacturing, production, procurement, sales, and finance.
• Ensures accurate product configuration information.
• Plans and reviews ECR approval process and monitors progress to completion.
• Produces reports and management information (e.g., action item and inventory status reports).
• Performs system queries to support costing, engineering, and manufacturing engineering.
• Audits BOMs and routers for data accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.
