Safariland in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to manage change projects, coordinate the ECR process with design, manufacturing, procurement, and finance, and ensure accurate product configuration information.

You will generate reports, perform data queries for costing and manufacturing, and support ERP data integrity while collaborating in a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or general education completed.
• 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong work ethic and self‑motivation.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize various tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write routine reports and internal correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively in a small group.
• Ability to solve practical problems as they relate to ERP.
• General knowledge of Mfg. processes, ERP, and costing.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate change management projects and ECR process with design engineering, manufacturing, production, procurement, sales, and finance.
• Assure accurate product configuration information.
• Plan and review ECR approval process and monitor through completion.
• Produce reports and management information, including Action item and inventory status reports.
• Perform system queries for data gathering to support costing, engineering, and manufacturing engineering.
• Perform audits of BOMs and routers to ensure data accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.
