Job summary

Corning Incorporated seeks a Quality professional to strengthen Product Quality Systems and drive continual improvements across manufacturing. You will lead root cause analysis and participate in cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are met for new and existing products.

Responsibilities include integrating customer specs, monitoring attribute results, and guiding process changes with IT and engineering. Strong data skills and communication are essential.

• Experience with data collection and data analysis software and techniques, including Excel, SPC XL, Pi, Access, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer specifications integration to manufacturing and monitor attribute results for continual improvement opportunities.
• Participate as a Quality Representative on New Product / New Equipment Teams to ensure all new products and processes meet Quality Requirements.
• Act as plant representative on division quality teams for new products and existing quality systems audits.
• Facilitate root cause analysis on products and processes not meeting requirements and develop sustainable solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in quality system improvements including product disposition tools and inventory management.
• Engage with IT and controls to provide accessible data for product measurements.
• Evaluate impact of product, process and equipment changes on attributes and quality architectures.
• Analyze data to develop, implement and measure internal attribute targets and improvement plans.
• Understand and meet internal and external customer needs and monitor quality systems accordingly.
