Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years AR and collections experience.
• Experience with commercial accounts and overdue follow-up.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP software.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work part-time and manage priorities.
• Ability to collaborate with project management and accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable activity and monitor outstanding customer balances.
• Follow up consistently on past-due invoices, payment status, collection commitments, and account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activity, customer communications, payment commitments, invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and supporting records.
• Reconcile customer accounts, research billing discrepancies, and help resolve payment issues.
• Track aging reports and provide updates on collection status to accounting and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end accounts receivable reporting and account reviews as needed.
