Job summary

ITT Inc. is offering an Engineering/Applications Intern (Summer 2027) in Irvine, CA.

This full-time summer internship runs May–August 2027, with 40 hours per week and exposure to IT-Engineering project coordination across PLM/CAD and related infrastructure. You will gather requirements, document processes, assist with modernization, testing, and validation, and coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing junior or senior year in CS/IT/IS/Analytics or related field.
• Interest in engineering systems, databases, app support and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support documentation, requirements gathering, testing, and project coordination within IT-Engineering.
• Assist with engineering application modernization, system upgrades, and site technology initiatives.
• Document processes, inventories, data flows, dependencies and known issues.
• Create troubleshooting guides, runbooks and user-facing documentation.
• Coordinate testing activities across IT, engineering, vendors and site teams.
