Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Process/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Cable, over-mold experience a PLUS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to learn and perform statistical analysis.
• CAD/ProE design experience helpful; must possess strong communication skills.
• Design for Manufacturability and Lean/Single Piece Flow knowledge/experience is a plus.
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access preferred

Responsibilities

• Improve critical business processes and drive financial results.
• Identify project scopes, developing project plans and business cases.
• Work with project team members; track / measure project result
• Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to streamline processes and increase yields using Six Sigma Lean principles
• Lead improvement projects within the value center and coordinate with project teams
• Measure results and provide performance data with recommendations for corrective action
• Recruit and train team members in Six Sigma problem solving tools
• Communicate project status across the organization and capture best practices
