Job summary

ITT Inc. in Valencia, CA is seeking a Summer Intern in Quality Engineering to support root cause analysis, document work instructions, and help with fabrication and assembly processes.

The role is open to Mechanical or Electrical Engineering students in their junior or senior year and runs May to August 2027, full-time, 40 hours per week. You will work under the guidance of quality engineers and gain hands-on experience with CAD tools, statistical analysis, and office software.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program (BS/MS/PhD), in good standing.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Problem Solving skill.
• Knowledge/experience in CAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action for customer return / fabrication issue
• Develop and document work instruction for fabrication and assembly
• Various other related tasks as assigned
