Job summary

Curt-G.-Jo in Wisconsin is seeking an Engineering Support Specialist to back the engineering team and help manage daily activities in the department.

You will assist with reporting, data gathering, and documentation, while collaborating with Sales and Program Managers to forecast schedules for quotations. Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires education generally equivalent to an Associate's Degree in Business or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Requires 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Requires mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word.
• May utilize the Workwise ERP system, AutoCAD, Adobe, and various other software packages.
• Requires good oral and written communication skills to interact with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist with generation of Weekly Management Report.
• Gathers information from those within the company to create documentation of various types.
• Collaborates with Sales and Program Managers to provide engineering schedule forecasts for customer quotations.
• Maintains, facilitates, and investigates projects in the Project Management System to ensure up to date information.
• Assist with new hire onboarding and training.
• Assist with creation of Departmental and Project SOPs.
• Works with various software packages (MS Office, ERP, Power BI) to create, store, manage, verify, convert, maintain, restore and/or edit engineering department and company items.
• Works with various tools to store, create, edit and/or restore Engineering and company items.
• Collaborate with others to proactively develop broad-based personal knowledge, skills, and abilities towards key JOA competencies.
• Acts as back up to other Engineering Support Specialists.
