Job summary

TVH Parts Co. is seeking an Engineering Administrative Assistant to support the Engineering team from our Olathe, KS location.

The role involves updating databases, producing reports, and handling electronic and physical documents to streamline part drawings and data workflows. Responsibilities include data entry for part numbers, aiding CAD operators, and supporting purchase orders, BOMs, and customer orders using LINK capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year work experience performing administrative essential functions.
• Proficient experience with Excel, Microsoft Database, and JIRA.
• Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrates organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Update Engineering database: drawing status, comments, completions.
• Produce regularly scheduled reports (weekly, monthly, etc.).
• Create and file electronic documents; convert hard copies to digital format for storage and retrieval.
• Perform maintenance on part numbers for Engineers.
• Support Engineering with clerical activities.
• Use a Laser Scanner for 3D data collection for CAD drawings; save and organize data and issue tracking reports.
• Assist Engineering with LINK capabilities: issuing Purchase Orders, loading BOMs, and Customer Orders.
