Job summary

Santa Rosa Junior College is building a pool of associate faculty for Banking and Finance instruction across day, evening, weekend, online, and hybrid formats. Candidates must meet minimum qualifications or provide equivalency documents and are expected to support diverse student populations.

Assignments are part-time, on-site (not remote) and may be immediate or as needed. The district offers CalSTRS retirement options, medical benefits for eligible staff, and pro-rated sick leave accrual.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree AND two years full-time (or part-time equivalent) related experience OR an Associate's degree AND six years related experience OR the equivalent OR a fully satisfied (Life) California Community College Instructor's Credential in Business.
Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students.
Ability to teach in Banking and Finance with minimum qualifications as listed, or file for equivalency.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online or hybrid assignments.
Provide academic assistance during scheduled office hours.
Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and maintain currency in field(s) of expertise.
Associate faculty focus on instruction and/or student services; may perform extra compensation services.
