Job summary

Strategy Consulting Team (SCT) seeks Engineer/Physical Scientist candidates to support DOE/NNSA NA-11 in the Washington, DC area. Positions may be filled at junior or senior levels based on experience.

You will provide technical, analytical, programmatic, and integration support for R&D activities that advance stockpile stewardship and experimental science, collaborating with federal managers, national laboratories, and academic partners.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree (master’s or doctorate) in engineering, physics, or related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience at NNSA or equivalent organization.
• DOE Q clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
• Ability to translate complex findings into clear recommendations.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, analytical, programmatic, and integration support for NA-11 R&D activities.
• Serve as adviser or program management specialist for planning, execution, and evaluation of projects.
• Review data, plans, and reports for technical sufficiency and alignment with program requirements.
• Develop technical reviews, assessments, and decision-support documents.
• Prepare communications for leadership and stakeholders.
