Job summary

Strategy Consulting Team (SCT) seeks a Deputy Director/Project Manager to support the DOE/NNSA NA-11 mission in the Washington, DC area. You will lead contract performance, interface with CO/COR, supervise project personnel, and provide technical and analytical support to NA-11 leadership.

The role requires 10+ years in government program management, an MS/PhD, and an active Q clearance, with a strong background in science or engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program management experience in national security or defense.
• Advanced STEM degree (MS/PhD).
• Active Q clearance required.
• Experience with NNSA/DOE or similar government programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal interface with the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR.
• Manage all project activities and ensure contractual performance.
• Supervise project personnel and enforce performance standards.
• Provide technical and analytical support to NA-11 leadership.
• Prepare and submit reports, deliverables, and project documentation on schedule.
• Communicate policies, mission, purpose, and goals to project personnel.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance processes for objectives and requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Act as a technical advisor in project management and experiments.
