Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for an Engineer, Journeyman to support the Systems Engineering Department (SED) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The program provides systems engineering support for weapons systems across various platforms, including technological research, analysis, documentation, and evaluation throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
• Reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documents.
• Applying systems engineering experience in system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
• Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, or evaluating software, components, or systems related to military weapons systems and support systems.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited institution.
• At least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated engineering expertise.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• U.S. Citizenship.
