Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for an Engineer (Systems), Journeyman to support the Systems Engineering Department (SED) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The program provides systems engineering support for weapons systems on various platforms, including technical research, development, analysis, and documentation, as part of the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems. The role involves evaluating technical performance, mission suitability, and associated acquisition risks throughout the full lifecycle of a program.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing programmatic or technical analyses to identify, formulate, design, and test practical solutions to engineering problems.
• Guiding the engineering development of modern complex systems.
• Employing systems engineering methods and tools in system development.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
• At least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in an engineering specialization.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• US Citizenship.
