As a Software Tester/QA Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software solutions that support critical government operations. Working within an Agile framework, you will collaborate closely with business, product, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

What You'll Do
  • Understand key features and functionality of existing and new software solutions.
  • Perform comprehensive test planning, development, and execution, ensuring the successful delivery of products.
  • Support the QA team in daily activities, including writing test plans, executing tests, monitoring release activity, documenting defects, and delivering detailed test reports to stakeholders.
  • Review documentation, test plans, requirements, and design specifications to identify technical issues and ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update the Master Test Plan while working directly with clients to capture test requirements and develop test scripts.
  • Drive quality assurance processes and secure buy-in from executive leadership to ensure
Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred (exceptional candidates with post-secondary education and relevant experience will be considered).
  • 3+ years of QA and software testing experience.
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience working across all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex software systems, including interpreting systems architecture diagrams and design documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background or experience in Health IT.
  • Active DoD Public Trust or Secret clearance is preferred.
  • Experience with quality assurance processes for mission-critical applications.

Other Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
