Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. Distribution & Logistics IT is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability and resilience of global warehouse and transportation technology platforms.

You will lead major incident response efforts, drive reliability improvements, and partner with engineering, operations, vendors, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to reduce risk and improve business continuity across critical supply chain systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in systems reliability engineering, application support, platform operations, production support, or enterprise logistics technology environments.
• Experience leading major incident response and cross-functional recovery efforts.
• Strong troubleshooting across applications, integrations, databases, monitoring platforms, and operational technologies.
• Advanced SQL, observability, release validation, and RCA to improve reliability.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Manhattan WMS/TMS, SAP, UKG WFM, MuleSoft, Talend, ServiceNow, Power BI/Tableau, and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with observability platforms, log analytics, API management, Linux, Azure, and warehouse automation.
• Experience supporting peak readiness, command center operations, 3PL transitions, major incidents, upgrades, or business continuity.
• Experience supporting warehouse, transportation, supply chain, or enterprise platforms with vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact incident response efforts, coordinating technical teams and recovery activities to minimize business disruption.
• Own root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and long-term remediation of recurring or high-severity production issues.
• Improve monitoring, observability, operational health indicators, runbooks, and deployment readiness across Distribution & Logistics platforms.
• Partner with engineering, operations, vendors, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and 3PLs to strengthen platform reliability and resilience.
• Coach engineers and support teams on troubleshooting practices and the use of AI-enabled tools to improve reliability and efficiency.

As part of the Distribution & Logistics IT team, you will help ensure the reliability, resilience, and operational readiness of the technology platforms that support global warehouse and transportation operations. You will lead major incident response efforts, drive reliability improvements, and partner with engineering, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders to reduce risk and improve business continuity across critical supply chain systems.

About The Job

• Lead high-impact incident response efforts, coordinating technical teams and recovery activities to minimize business disruption.
• Own root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and long-term remediation of recurring or high-severity production issues.
• Improve monitoring, observability, operational health indicators, runbooks, and deployment readiness across Distribution & Logistics platforms.
• Partner with engineering teams, operations teams, vendors, cybersecurity, infrastructure teams, and third-party logistics providers to strengthen platform reliability and resilience.

About You

• 6+ years of experience in systems reliability engineering, application support, platform operations, production support, or enterprise logistics technology environments.
• Experience leading major incident response, coordinating cross-functional recovery efforts, and driving operational improvements for business-critical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting expertise across applications, integrations, databases, monitoring platforms, and operational technologies.
• Advanced SQL, observability, release validation, and root cause analysis experience used to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS, Manhattan Active WMS, Manhattan TMS, Centiro TMS, Manhattan LMS, UKG WFM, MuleSoft, Talend, SAP AFS, SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Manhattan SCI, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, or comparable enterprise platforms.
• Experience with observability platforms, log analytics, application performance monitoring, API management, Linux, Microsoft Azure, warehouse automation, WCS integrations, and high-volume global distribution center operations.
• Experience supporting peak readiness, command center operations, third-party logistics (3PL) transitions, major incidents, upgrades, rollouts, or business continuity activities.
• Experience supporting warehouse, transportation, supply chain, or enterprise platforms, including vendor coordination and operational readiness activities.
