Toyota's Plano headquarters is seeking a data-minded Engineer to lead accessory product development, supplier collaboration, and process optimization within the PSD team. You will apply rigorous analytics to drive manufacturability and cost improvements across multiple programs.

The role emphasizes design-for-manufacturability, KPI transparency, and cross-functional teamwork with suppliers to meet milestones. Travel may be required up to 50% peak and 25–30% on average.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• 4+ years of equivalent professional experience in Automotive Manufacturing/Engineering.
• Experience with data analysis to evaluate trends and communicate insights to management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Utilize process engineering and Toyota Production System skills to design and implement optimal manufacturing processes with suppliers.
• Execute and manage the PSD operating procedure for change part content across programs.
• Develop and modify project strategies for critical parts based on risk ranking.
• Maintain and communicate part status information for KPI visualization.
• Lead supplier teams in problem solving to mitigate risks using Toyota practices.
• Develop project schedules to achieve objectives and KPI targets.
