Job summary

Toyota North America in Plano, TX is seeking an Engineer with a strong data analytics mindset to lead the development of Accessory products, processes and suppliers. You will deploy the PSD New Model Development Operational Procedure to optimize manufacturability and meet milestones.

Responsibilities include managing change parts across programs, KPI visualization, and leading supplier teams using Toyota practices. A technical degree and automotive experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• 4+ years in Automotive Manufacturing/Engineering.
• 2+ years in Manufacturing/Quality/Engineering with specified commodities.
• 2+ years in Manufacturing/Quality/Engineering with listed processes.
• Experience reading drawings and basic GD&T.
• Proficiency with Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate; data analytics platforms & AI tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (peak) / 25–30% average.

Responsibilities

• Utilize TPS and collaborate with suppliers to design and implement optimal manufacturing processes.
• Execute and manage the PSD operating procedure for change part content across programs.
• Develop and modify project strategies for critical parts based on risk ranking.
• Maintain and communicate part status information for KPI visualization.
• Lead Supplier Partner teams in problem solving and consensus building.
• Develop project schedules to meet objectives and KPIs.
