Job summary

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. is seeking an Engineer for the Purchasing Supplier Development (PSD) Accessories, Logistics, and Planning Department in Plano, TX.

Lead development of accessory products, processes and suppliers, applying data-driven insights to meet milestones. Bachelor's in Engineering with 4+ years automotive/manufacturing experience and strong data analytics were required; travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• 4+ years of equivalent professional experience in Automotive Manufacturing/Engineering.
• 2+ years in Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering with multiple listed commodities.
• Experience with data analysis to evaluate trends and communicate insights.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Power BI/Power Automate.

Responsibilities

• Utilize process engineering and Toyota Production System skills with suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Execute and manage the PSD operating procedure for change part content across programs.
• Develop and modify project strategies for critical parts based on risk ranking.
• Maintain and communicate part status information for KPI visualization.
• Lead supplier partner teams in problem solving and risk mitigation.
