Job summary

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. is seeking an Engineer-Assembly Equipment to support model preparation and launch across NAMC sites.

You will report to Assembly Engineering Manager and help develop assembly processes and equipment for new models, refurbishment, and Kaizen. The role demands hands-on experience in Production Engineering, equipment sourcing, and 3D modeling, with travel up to 50% (domestic and international).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or 4+ years of equivalent experience in Assembly Engineering.
• Experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Preparation for Toyota teams or contractors.
• Experience with equipment sourcing and installation for Toyota projects.
• Experience with 3D modeling and prototype part printing.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning for upcoming model changes (10%).
• Simultaneous Engineering for assembly of vehicle with TMC & TTC (20%).
• Project Management over process setup & equipment procurement (70%).
