Job summary

Toyota Manufacturing is seeking a motivated Assembly Engineer to positively impact safety, quality, and productivity through solution-driven project management. You will report to the Assembly Engineering Manager and support the team to build high‑quality vehicles safely for customers.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in engineering, hands‑on production engineering experience, strong communication, and a proactive approach to cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Applied Engineering.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment in an engineering or technical role (incl. co-op/internship).
• Project management experience (lead, prioritize, milestones, status reporting).
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Driving required with MVR acceptable by company standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to resolve manufacturing operational issues.
• Gather and analyze detailed data to make decisions impacting vehicle quality.
• Provide technical support to production for process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure activities comply with safety standards and regulations; act as a verification resource.
• Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
• Participate in and/or lead cross-functional teams including production, safety, conveyance, maintenance, inspection, and quality.
