Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking an on-site Maintenance role at Horseshoe Indianapolis. The candidate will perform general maintenance, repair gaming equipment, and ensure guest experiences meet high standards on a fast-paced gaming floor.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience, and licenses/certifications including CFC 608 and Indiana Horse Racing License. Must comply with safety and regulatory policies.

Job Summary

Responsible for performing necessary skills and demonstrating knowledge relating to the general maintenance of the property to provide a positive guest experience.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of table games equipment including but not limited to gaming tables.
  • All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Horseshoe Indianapolis policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations.
What You Will Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of one to two (1-2) years experience in general maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing License.
  • Engineer I Must possess certification of CFC 608 and have any of following as minimum experience:

1. Two (2) years of experience in a maintenance field related to or applicable to the hospitality or service industry.

2. Two (2) years of experience in a maintenance field related to facilities or building maintenance where job responsibilities included aspects significantly comparable to the maintenance and repair of the electrical and mechanical systems pertinent to the facility.

3. Completed 18 credit hours trade-related (pertinent to trades required in the position) coursework at a trade school, university or college (Electrical, mechanical, HVAC, Industrial, facility or building maintenance, machine tool technology). Transcripts required.

4. Verifiable Documentation of personal experience and practical demonstration of proficiency within technical areas pertinent to the position.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
  • Also required are frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping; lifting, climbing steps and sitting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Horseshoe Indianapolis is a smoking establishment.
  • Must be able to work in a highly populated fast-paced and noisy environment.
  • Requires Access to the gaming floor
