Job summary

Puget Sound Energy's Generation Electrical & Controls (GEC) team seeks an Electrical Engineer with experience in industrial processes and controls to support wind and solar generation. The role involves reviewing complex plans, designing and modifying HMIs, PLCs, and DCS logic, and coordinating with plant staff on operational troubleshooting.

The position blends field and office work across Washington and Montana sites, with some travel and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited or NCEES credentials evaluated; BS in engineering required.
• Entry level to three years of engineering design, specifications, field work, or studies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and modify guidelines for current problems or processes.
• Review complex designs, standards, studies, and analyses.
• Provide detailed design reviews of technical documents.
• Prepare cost estimates and project evaluations with minimal supervision.
• Plan and develop project budgets with documentation.
