Zachry Nuclear Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to contribute to power plant upgrade and new project design under supervision.

You will apply established engineering methods, perform calculations, and modify designs in collaboration with project teams to enhance performance, safety, and reliability. The role requires knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, strong communication skills, and ability to travel to client sites.

Formación

• BS degree in civil (structural) engineering from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of industry codes including ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7 through academic record or work experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to pass security and drug screening and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Ability to travel to client sites and perform field and office work.

Responsabilidades

• Performing engineering and design activities for power plant upgrades and new power plant projects under senior engineering supervision.
• Applying standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria in evaluations and designs.
• Assisting with calculations, modifications, and design development.
• Collaborating with project teams to evaluate conditions and develop design changes to improve plant performance, safety, and reliability.
