NWU seeks a Civil (Structural) Engineer to contribute to power plant upgrade and new build projects. You will perform engineering and design activities under senior supervision, applying industry methods to evaluations and designs.

The role requires a BS in civil engineering, knowledge of ACI/AISC/ASCE 7, strong communication, MS Office proficiency, and willingness to travel to client sites for field and office work.

Qualificações

• BS in civil (structural) engineering from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7 through academic record or work experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and processes.
• Capability to pass security and drug screening and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Ability to travel to client sites and perform field and office work.
• Physical ability to perform equipment walk downs in industrial plant environments, including climbing ladders, accessing security-controlled areas, and entering confined and controlled hazardous spaces.
