Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an engineer to support its SETT division in Puerto Rico. The role focuses on process optimization, troubleshooting, and implementing system modifications within pharmaceutical/biotech production environments.

The position requires working knowledge of cGMP, CAPA handling, and GDP. Bilingual Spanish/English is desired, with flexibility for non-standard shifts in an east region PR setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering with relevant experience.
• Experience with cGMP procedures in pharma/biotech production.
• Familiarity with process characterization, validation, monitoring, and optimization.
• Experience identifying and managing CAPAs.
• GDP knowledge and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Characterize process optimization strategies and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Apply basic engineering principles to design and implement system modifications and capital projects.
• Organize, analyze, and present results for engineering projects of minor scope.

• Master’s degree in Engineering ORBachelor’s degree in Engineering & 2 years of Engineering experience.
• Working knowledge and experience with cGMP procedures and engineering practices on pharmaceutical/biotech production processes, facilities, and equipment.
• Familiarity with process characterization, validation, monitoring, and optimization techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and experience conducting root cause investigations. Expertise in identifying and managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
• Strong knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Experience managing technical documentation and records. System Owner Experience- MMP experience.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English.
• Availability to work non-standard shifts operation.

Job summary: Under general supervision, provides characterization of process optimization strategies and/or troubleshooting of operational issues in the operations, manufacturing, pilot plant or capital projects environment. Applies basic engineering principles to the design and implementation of system modifications, experiments and/or capital projects. Organizes, analyzes and presents interpretation of results for operational issues or engineering projects of minor scope and complexity.
