Job summary

Ultipro in Midland, TX seeks a diesel/automotive technician with CAT product knowledge to diagnose, repair, and test engines and components. Bring 1–3 years of relevant experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 years diesel/automotive tech experience.
• CAT product knowledge in gas, diesel, electrical, electronic, mechanical areas required.
• Ability to provide accurate quotes and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Perform work in shop setting; diagnose and troubleshoot engine repairs.
• Prepare service reports and timecards daily; rebuild engines/components with supervision.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations; maintain tools and databases.
