Job summary

The Engine Shop Technician I at Ultipro provides high quality repair service on equipment, responding to customer needs with a positive, caring, and timely approach to ensure maximum value for work performed. Typical schedule consists of 3, 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include completing assigned jobs to meet flat-rate times, working safely under WCAT policies, handling related paperwork, following contamination control rules, and removing/installing parts and inspecting assemblies with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
3–5 years of experience as a diesel/ automotive technician or equivalent.
General knowledge of diesel/gas engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulics, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
Current, valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
Work safely and follow all WCAT safety policies and procedures.
Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, clean and inspect assemblies with minimal supervision.
