Job summary

Warren CAT in Midland, TX is seeking an Engine Shop Technician III to provide high-quality engine repair services for gas and diesel engines. You will diagnose, disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components, and verify operation of repairs with Dyno testing.

In this role you will complete work orders and safety documentation, mentor junior technicians, and ensure compliance with CAT warranty guidelines and reusability standards within a safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Preferred AA in Applied Diesel Technology.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality repairs on gas and diesel engines to required specifications.
• Operate and perform Dyno operations proficiently.
• Complete work orders, parts orders and safety documentation accurately.
• Mentor junior Engine Techs as needed.
• Follow CAT warranty guidelines and reusability guidelines.
• Ensure proper inspection, disassembly, reassembly, and testing of components.
• Maintain safe work environment per WCAT policies.
