Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Service Administrator to support the Engine Service team in Maersta, Sweden.

You will serve as the primary contact for customers, open work orders, prepare quotes and repair plans, and coordinate schedules with supervisors to ensure timely service. The role requires strong English and Swedish communication, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education.
Experience in administration roles, preferably in engineering, construction, or technical service industries.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook; accounting programs are a bonus.
Positive, upbeat attitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

Acts as the primary point of contact with customers by phone or in person, building positive relationships.
Analyze customer needs, gather information, open work orders, provide quotes, develop claims, and schedule repairs.
Create complex work orders with diagnostic plans, quotes, and repair plans based on parts and labor availability.
Review repair plans with Service Supervisor/Team Lead before customer contact.
Schedule job assignments with Service Supervisor or Team Lead.
Resolve customer concerns regarding warranties; explain charges to customers.
Monitor workshop KPIs such as labor productivity and customer satisfaction.
