Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, MS is hiring a Painter I to apply industrial paint finishes on engines and components. You will operate spray equipment, mix paints, monitor drying, and follow SOPs to ensure quality in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous paint application experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Basic understanding of MS Office applications.
• Experience with compliant spray equipment.
• Understanding of blueprints is a plus.
• Interest in becoming a power trainer.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (background, drug & alcohol, med questionnaire).

Responsibilities

• Operate spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on engines or components.
• Follow work instructions and blueprints to ensure quality.
• Maintain paint systems and equipment (paint kitchen, 2KS, booths, hoods, guns).
• Document daily production logs and maintain safety standards.
• Prioritize tasks to meet production schedules.
• Ensure parts are free from defects and quality issues.
• Support other value streams as needed.
