Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking motivated painters for our East Peoria Building LL facility to apply finish paint to prime products and transportation equipment, ensuring high-quality results.

You will maintain paint quality, inspect spray equipment, and manage materials for paint booth operations. The role requires 6 months in a manufacturing or paint environment and may require 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:00 pm) or 3rd shift (10:00 pm–6:00 am).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, paint shop, or similar industrial environment.
• Automotive paint shop experience preferred.
• Production painting experience in a manufacturing environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply finish paint to prime products and transportation equipment according to quality standards.
• Maintain high-quality paint finishes free from runs, sags, and other defects.
• Inspect, test, clean, repair, and service spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Mix paint and maintain adequate supply of materials for paint booth operations.
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
