Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking motivated painters for the East Peoria Building LL facility. You will apply finish paint to prime products and transportation equipment, ensuring top quality finishes and proper maintenance of painting equipment.

The role requires flexibility for 2nd or 3rd shift, with a minimum 40 hours per week in a supplemental position. Competitive pay includes a base hourly wage plus a shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, paint shop or similar industrial environment.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift with limited breaks.
• Flexibility to work second or third shift, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Apply finish paint to prime products and transportation equipment according to standards.
• Maintain high-quality paint finishes free of runs and defects.
• Inspect and service spray guns and painting equipment.
• Prepare and mix paints, manage supplies for paint booth operations.
• Follow safety, quality and production procedures.
