Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, MS is seeking a Cleaning I to operate in a detail or preclean environment focused on engine and component cleaning. Work in a fast-paced setting with safety and quality emphasis, using various tools and hoists as needed.

Responsibilities include disassembly and detailing, data entry, and adherence to built-in safety guidelines. Strong reading and writing skills and basic MS Office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)
• Must read/write and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and detail engine components in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
• Utilize disassembly tools to clean/detail parts (vibratory, pneumatic tools, grinders, etc.).
• Cross training in other Salary Grade 1 positions may be required.
• Overhead hoist may be used to move large components.
• Perform material handling and prep for production schedule.
• Wear a detail suit with hood and/or respirator and follow safety guidelines.
