Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, MS is seeking a Cleaning I to support engine and component cleaning in a fast-paced, safety-conscious plant. The role involves detail-oriented cleaning, use of hand and pneumatic tools, and potential cross-training across related entry-level positions.

Candidates should have basic computer skills, the ability to read and interpret documents, and good verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data).
• Must be able to read/write and interpret documents.
• Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and detail engine components in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
• May require use of disassembly tools to clean/detail (vibratory, pneumatic tools: impact guns, wrenches, needle guns, handheld grinders, die grinders and buffers, etc.).
• Cross training in other Salary Grade 1 positions may be required based upon qualifications.
• May be required to use an overhead hoist to move large components.
• May perform material handling, unloading parts according to production schedule.
