Job summary

FastTek Global in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Product Engineer for Engine System Cooling. You will design and develop cooling components including radiator, condenser, electric fan assemblies, and related systems, coordinating CAE, prototyping and testing with cross-functional teams.

You will work with suppliers to ensure manufacturability, support vehicle assembly and testing, and address quality and cost reduction opportunities after launch.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in automotive product development or mechanical engineering
• Experience with engine cooling and thermal management systems
• Experience across design, development, validation, testing, and launch
• Experience with CAD tools (CATIA/NX/Creo/SolidWorks)
• Root cause analysis and issue resolution
• Cross-functional collaboration with design, CAE, testing, manufacturing, and suppliers
• Strong project management, communication, and organization

Responsibilities

• Lead early packaging and development of cooling components
• Coordinate CAE, design, prototyping and testing activities
• Cooperate with supplier to ensure design for manufacturability and milestones
• Support vehicle assembly and testing and resolve issues
• Address quality concerns and potential cost reductions after vehicle launch
