Job summary

ManpowerGroup on behalf of our automotive client in Auburn Hills, MI seeks an Automotive Product Engineer – Cooling Systems & Thermal Management. You will design, develop, validate, and release cooling components for vehicle applications.

The role requires a Mechanical/Automotive Engineering degree with internship/project experience and strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
Internships or co-ops in automotive/product development environments are required.
Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T and APQP processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, validate, and release vehicle cooling system components such as radiators, condensers, cooling modules, and fans.
Lead packaging and development activities to meet thermal performance and program objectives.
Coordinate design, CAE analysis, prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and readiness.
Support testing, root-cause analysis, quality improvements, and cost-reduction efforts.
