Hyundai Motor Company in Montgomery, AL is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to monitor and improve engine plant automation, with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness. Responsibilities include project planning, execution, and collaboration with Engine support groups.

You will apply PLC programming, electrical and control systems expertise, mentor teams, review equipment designs, and lead start-up and retrofits for high-volume manufacturing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Technical Discipline (or equivalent).
• 0–10 years job related experience preferred; 5 years in manufacturing with reliability and controls.
• 5 years’ experience supervising engineers and maintenance in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience and certifications in Fanuc CNC, Siemens CNC, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
• Strong background in controls engineering, PLC programming, electrical and bus/communication systems.

Responsabilidades

• Initiate and lead activities aligned with Engine Engineering department goals.
• Demonstrate strong background in Factory Automation and Engine Plant Equipment controls.
• Lead, train, mentor, and support Production and Maintenance groups.
• Review equipment designs and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Develop reports tracking KPI and support controls-related troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
