Job summary

Jobtailor in Erlanger, Kentucky, is seeking a senior Asset Maintenance Specialist to ensure Airworthiness Directives compliance and oversee logbooks, vendor performance, and post-lease records. Qualifications

• 5+ years of aircraft/engine maintenance with AD/SB, work order, and logbook experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lease assets comply with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Maintain current technical knowledge of asset condition (TSN/TSO/CSN/CSO, green time, LLP, etc).
• Conduct pre- and post-rental inspection audits and work order audits.
• Validate vendor documentation for brokered leases before client delivery.
• Approve technical workscope and sign off repair orders.
• Audit repair order close-out documentation.
• Analyze performance run data and maintenance data to identify degradation trends and recommend actions.
• Recommend asset utilization and deployment to Asset Management leadership.
• Manage logbooks and documentation for lease and acquired assets.
• Enroll assets in Traxxall and maintain accurate real-time maintenance records.
• Direct and review the Philippines-based support team’s records and enrollment work.
• Monitor MRO vendor performance for quality and compliance.
• Support planning for unplanned requirements, new leases, and post-lease records.
• Keep AvSight and Traxxall current across assigned assets.
• Participate in planning reviews, providing technical and airworthiness visibility into fleet condition and risk.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft or engine maintenance, with hands‑on exposure to AD/SB compliance, work order management, and logbook review
• Strong analytical skills; able to interpret performance and maintenance data and translate it into clear recommendations
• Proficiency with maintenance tracking and inventory systems; ability to learn proprietary platforms quickly
• Ability to prioritize and execute in high‑pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience directing or reviewing the work of a remote or outsourced support team
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification preferred
• Experience with Traxxall, AvSight, or comparable aviation maintenance and inventory platforms preferred
• Background in engine or APU maintenance specifically preferred
• Experience managing MRO or vendor performance relationships preferred
