Lake Country Health Services is seeking an Activities Aide to support the Life Enrichment/Activities Department. The role involves facilitating person-centered activities that enhance residents' well-being, both in groups and individually, in afternoons four days a week.

You will help plan calendars, organize materials, and assist with events while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate has experience in long-term care or with older adults, strong English communication,

Qualifications

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; positive and energetic demeanor.
• Ability to lead activities, engage groups, and motivate participation.
• Ability to push wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading group and 1:1 activities based on residents' interests and care plans.
• Escort residents to and from activities, promoting safety and independence.
• Support residents with setup, materials, and cues during programs.
