Job summary

Wisconsin Dells Health Services, part of North Shore Health, is seeking an Activities Aide to support the Life Enrichment/Activities Department. The role focuses on meaningful, person-centered programs that enhance residents’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being; you will lead activities and engage groups with a compassionate, energetic approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to lead activities and engage groups.
• Must be able to push wheelchairs and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead group and 1:1 activities based on residents’ interests and care plans.
• Escort residents to and from activities, promoting safety and independence.
• Support with setup, materials, and cues during programs.
• Report changes in mood, behavior, or function to Life Enrichment Director and nursing team.
• Maintain monthly activity calendars, newsletters, and bulletin boards.
• Prepare supplies and maintain activity areas.
• Assist with special events and family engagement activities.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and visitors.
• Follow infection control, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
