Montclair in Morton Grove, IL is seeking an Activity Aide to support residents in long-term care and assisted living facilities with engaging activities and compassionate care.

You will plan, organize, and facilitate recreational, social, and therapeutic activities, coordinating with nursing staff to meet memory care needs and safety requirements. This is a part-time, in-person position with benefits and opportunities to positively impact residents" lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or working with elderly populations is preferred.
• Knowledge of aging issues counseling and memory care practices is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents and staff.
• Previous experience in event planning or facilitating group activities is a plus.
• Familiarity with nursing home or long-term care environments is beneficial.
